An extraordinary, a wonder, a miracle,
a forest elf, an angel, an inspiration,
a beacon of light, innocence and pure love.
A true legend, has passed on.
Tintin was someone special, to all of us.
But to me, he was so more than that,
he was furry son, my life saver.
Tintin has saved me, kept me alive,
when I didn't want to go on anymore.
He brought me through some of the
toughest times and trials of my life.
I will continue to carry his legacy,
rescuing, helping and nursing other squirrels,
so they too, can have a fair chance at life.
Fly free my son, my best friend,
my angel, my pride and joy...
I must say, thank you all,
every single one of you for the massive amount of support.
Although I don't reply or like every single comment and/or message,
I do read the vast majority of them.
Across all 3 platforms, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube,
we are close to a quarter of a million people,
that's almost 250.000 people in this community,
from all corners of the world, every religion and culture,
setting aside our differences, for one little red squirrel.
Although some of the messages are gut wrenching,
they really do help me.
Like family members, both old and young, following from their hospital beds,
some lost, some are still with us, tuning in every day,
just to catch a glimpse of Tintin's innocence, energy,
his joy, love of life and his angelic light. This was Tintin's mission,
the spread joy, love and light, in this ever dimming world.
To bring people together, despite their differences, despite their beliefs,
despite their political views and despite their skin color.
Tintin's light and love knows no boundaries, no discrimination,
no limits and never finite.
May his star in the nights sky forever shine down upon us,
guide us, comfort us and fill us with love and light.
Decan your words ring so true and honest. I dont know how you say what you say so well, you are extraordinary, as was Tintin, one very very special one in a million squirrel person. Thank you so much for sharing all these experiences/clips with us. We are all so very grateful to share in the amazing life you gave Tintin and him you. Thank you.
